Purple Loosestrifes’ use as a herbal remedy dates back to Ancient Greek and Roman times with 20% of the dried leaf containing the unique and valuable polyphenols.
Purple Loosestrife is native to Australia, USA and many parts of Europe and can be found growing in cool climate, wetland environments. Most evident in the summertime when the plant is in bloom with purple flower heads similiar to that of lavender plants.
Oakem combines the Purple Loosestrife Extract with Dr Red's Green Tea Extract which is then dried over a base of Peppermint Leaf to produce an invigorating and tasty tea.
For best results, use a tea infuser in the cup you are consuming the tea from.
Brew using 1 heaped teaspoon (1.5 grams) of OAKEM Purple Loosestrife Peppermint Herbal Infusion in a cup for 1-2 minutes.
Discard the tea leaves.
